Mp3 and Sound Clips

Here are some clips of cool solos and assorted sounds. All were recorded in my studio, using Nuendo, Cubase, Acid, Reason and assorted plugins.

Hodge Podge Part 2

Smooth Groove

Sunshine in the Rain

These solos focus mostly on my "heavier" side but I also have a huge repertoire of blues/funk and acoustic material. Some of which will find itself soon up here.

My preferred recording chain right now is: Line 6 Pod Pro, Gina Event Soundcard, Novation X-Station controller, Joe Meek Preamps, into Nuendo 3 which runs in Rewire mode with Acid 6 and Reason 3. Waves Plugins for mixing and mastering. Pentium 4, 3 gigahertz computer, Windows XP Media, optimized for recording. I could write volumes on how to optimize a computer for audio/video and I probably will!

One thing I firmly believe in. You MUST optimize your computer before doing any serious recording. By serious I mean more than 15 tracks of audio, high-end recording software, good sound card (and no, no soundblasters...) and plugins. Even in this day and age, with computer power at an all time high, it's important to realize that the programs have ALSO gotten bigger and more bloated. 70 percent of Windows XP is NOT needed if you're recording on your PC! So... come to me if you need help with that. You won't regret it!

Stay tuned for more to come! I'll get into detail about the recording process and you can also read up on it thru my blog, shortly to be released.
